Enchanted Princess, the fifth ship in Princess Cruises' Royal Class and the second with enhancements introduced on 2019’s Sky Princess, debuted in November 2021. Carrying 3,660 passengers, the ship sails itineraries mostly in the Caribbean and New England & Canada. As on Sky Princess, the Royal Class’s signature SeaWalk has been tweaked to include two arcing glass-floored walkways allowing views of the waves 128 feet below, with the Seaview Bar now tucked between them. The adults-only Sanctuary and Retreat Pool remain the same. Like all Princess ships going forward, Enchanted Princess has the high-tech MedallionClass system to expedite boarding, access the best Wi-Fi, and help passengers navigate the ship, keep track of family and friends onboard, and order food or drinks for delivery.
What We Love
The Pools and Hot Tubs: Enchanted Princess is one of the ships in the Princess fleet with the most pools (two deep-tank pools on the Lido Deck, a Retreat Pool and an aft Wake View Pool) and hot tubs (10 total). We were already fans of the relaxing, infinity-edged Wake View Pool on Sky Princess and this one is just as awesome.
The Sky Suites: Introduced on Sky Princess, these two suites on the Sky Deck (deck 18) are each 1,873 square feet, including a 1,000-square-foot wrap-around balcony offering 270-degree panoramas and private viewing of Movies Under the Stars. They feature two bedrooms, two baths, and a sofa bed, accommodating up to five guests.
The Specialty Dining Options: Princess offers a really terrific selection of specialty restaurants — and the mix on Enchanted Princess is tough to beat. Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria is authentic in all the best ways and The Catch by Rudi features fresh seafood dishes by Chef Rudi Sodamin, Princess’ head of culinary arts, while O’Malley’s Irish Pub offers creative takes on pub favorites and Gigi’s Pizza by Alfredo serves up made-to-order individual pizzas. For a special dining experience, Chef’s Table Lumiere is an exclusive, multi-course tasting menu hosted by the ship’s executive chef. Plus, tried-but-true Crown Grill satisfies carnivores with aged, cooked-to-order cuts of steak, lobster and seafood, along with all the traditional sides.
